Yen-Chii graduated from Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane and worked in Adelaide before settling here in Canberra. She enjoys all aspects of care ranging from general treatment to musculoskeletal conditions.
Yen-Chii is always expanding her knowledge to give you the best care and has completed extra courses in hands-on approaches such as foot mobilisation, trigger point therapy, and exercise prescription therapy. It is important to her to build a relationship of trust with everyone she sees, and to help them feel comfortable with their feet and foot function. She understands that you are more than your feet and will work with you to get back to doing what you love.
The future of podiatry is bright. Expanding technologies and ongoing research keep Yen-Chii engaged while providing the Belconnen and Canberra community with safe and effective options.
Before stepping into podiatry, Yen-Chii worked for 2 years in the footwear industry with leading shoe manufacturers and continues to keep up to date with the newest footwear updates.
Outside of work Yen-Chii enjoys running, hiking, participating in CrossFit, and is an avid foodie (to balance out the exercise of course!).
Cecilia always knew she would end up in the health professional world. Helping others by improving their quality of life provides one with meaning and self-worth. Podiatry may seem like a peculiar choice to most, but to Cecilia it offers a vast career and future. A podiatrist gets to treat the very young to the very old. All aspects of foot health are covered including skin & toenail conditions, pain & injuries and foot conditions resulting from chronic diseases such as diabetes.
Cecilia has significantly expanded on her podiatry studies since graduating from La Trobe University in 2011. Professional development studies have included Children’s Podiatry, toenail bracing, biomechanics, massage, myofascial cupping, dry needling, mobilisation, taping, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, laser therapy, injection therapy, ultrasound imaging and mental health first aid. Cecilia knows a collaborate approach to health care produces the best results. Cecilia will listen and work with you, your other health care providers and associates to help you achieve your health and lifestyle goals.
Cecilia’s mission is to resolve the foot, ankle and lower leg concerns of the Canberra & surrounding community in a personable and collaborate environment. Cecilia’s vision is to be the Podiatrist you want to recommend to your family and friends.
Outside of work, you will find Cecilia exploring Canberra, volunteering, visiting family and friends in Wagga and cooking up a storm with a special interest in preserves.
